Kyle is a solicitor who has a proven track record handling complex litigation across various industries having been involved in a number of notable cases including the Pearls India Ponzi Scheme Class Action.

Kyle is passionate about helping small businesses succeed, grow and thrive.  He regularly assists directors and small businesses experiencing financial hardship by recovering bad debts, defending litigation brought against it and implementing strategies towards better business practice.

Kyle was named as a finalist in the Lawyers Weekly top 30 under 30 Lawyers for Insolvency in 2020 for his commitment to assist small businesses experiencing financial hardship during the COVID-19 pandemic. He was also named as a finalist in the 2022 Brisbane Junior Chamber of Commerce Entrepreneur of the Year Awards and named as a finalist in both 2022 and 2023 for the Business News Australia Brisbane Entrepreneur of the Year Awards (category Legal / Professional Services)

Recently Kyle’s firm, Macmillan Law, featured on the channel 9 program A Current Affair, in relation to a neighbourhood dispute centred around the use of drones. Senior Associate, Tom Pils, the leading expert on drone law in Australia, spoke about the complex legal aspects surrounding drone usage.

Kyle graduated from Elanora High School in 2010. His passion for the law was sparked when he studied Legal Studies in Years 11 and 12. After graduating, Kyle completed a Bachelor of Laws and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at Bond University.

Since beginning his journey in the legal profession Kyle has been Admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and also Admitted to practice in the High Court of Australia.

Kyle worked for several boutiques law firms in Brisbane, where he held a Senior role, and in 2019 began consulting as a contractor before commencing his own firm in 2021. He is an experienced litigator who has practiced exclusively in the areas of litigation and insolvency.
